Errata
While this book has been edited several times, by myself, the test knitters, by a professional knitting editor and a Potter Craft editor, some errors have slipped by. Mostly because as we knit, we tend to automatically fix things, while not even realizing we have and so miss catching them and writing them down. Not to mention, publishing is a fast paced world with tight deadlines...if I had 2 more months...Hopefully we have caught them all here, but if you catch another, please email me and I will post ASAP. All Ravelry patterns are corrected with below errata.
Joanne
Child's Red Cable Sweater:
After the Front Neck shaping, work the pattern to the same length as the Back before Shoulder shaping. Collar: Cast off the sts, then sew onto Neckline, reversing sewing at front to hiding seam, where needed.
Brecon:
There needs to be a 3 bobble cluster. So at the end of the first bobble, it should read "Work Rows 1-10, 2 more times, leaving last st on ndl."
Pg 16 Ski Lodge Scoop:
On the schematic, the 20 on the left side should read 22 and the bottom 9 on the right side should read 10.
Neckband: Adds up to 94 (100, 100) sts.
Pg 27 Girl's Valentine Cardie:

For Size 2 Sleeve: work every 4th row increase to 48 sts, ignoring the 6th row increases.

Pg 71 Extrordinary Orchids Mother's Day Cardigan:
If you would like to match the motifs up from Front to Back at shoulder, I have made some changes here to do that. It does, however, leave 5 (8, 9, 7) sts of Stockinette St at each side of the buttonband. I debated adding a little violet to this from the chart, but I will let you judge whether or not it is needed.

Pg 112 Hip & Happenin' Wristwarmers: (Right Hand) The beginning of Rnds 1, 3, 5 and 7 have been changed to read K18, K19, K20 and K21 respectively and "knit to end of rnd" can be removed from Rnds 3, 5 and 7 as they are redundant.
Pg 120 What's His Is Hers Fair Isle Vest: The chart begins and ends where indicated at the bottom. For example, if you are knitting the Large size, you begin 2 stitches from the end, repeat the chart from first stitch to last, then end 3 stitches from the start of the chart. Continue this throughout.
Do not bind off Back neck sts. Instead, place on holder. (Finishing Neckband) With RS facing, pick up and knit 91 (98-102-107) sts down Left Front Neck. Knit the st from safety pin (center st) and place marker. Pick up and knit 91 (98-102-107) sts up Right Front Neck. Knit across 45 (47-47-49) sts from the Back Neck St Holder, dec 3 (3-3-1) sts evenly across 42 (44-44-48) sts. 225 (241-249-261) sts.
For size Medium: Begin the chart 8 sts from the end of Row 1, and end 9 sts from the beginning of Row 1, ignoring the starting and ending points printed. Continue as set.
Note: based on feedback of neckband pulling, I've revised sts for a 6.5 gauge in ribbing. Some might prefer the tighter original numbers and blocking to measurement as stated in book. Others can use this flatter rib revision. Any feedback welcome. Please email me.
Pg 126 Kimono Wrap: When beginning the Collar and you have worked to 25.5", etc and end with the WS facing for next row. Then the collar's 1st row states it is on the RS. This is a typo - you should still be on the WS. You're basically making the WS the RS of the collar. Also, after the asterisk and K4, the K1. P1 should be (K1. P1) twice.
Pg 130 Doggy Doodle: The measurement (under "Size") should read 14 (20, 24)" (35.5 [51, 61]cm) and when you increase 2 sts after ribbing, you should have 56 (84,112) sts.
Pg 143 Scarf #2: Row 1: Knit. Row 2: Purl. Row 3: K1. K2tog (3 times). (yo. K1) 6 times. K2tog (3 times) K1. Row 4: Knit. Change colours every 2 repeats.
Pg 152 Red Cable Cardigan: Balls of Mission Falls required should read 20 (20, 22, 24) balls.
Left Front: After cast on,...increasing 8 sts evenly across last row, ending with 50 (54, 58, 66) sts. Row 1 and all alt rows: (K2. P2) 2 (3, 4, 6) times... After armhole bind offs there are now 46 (48, 52, 54) sts. The same correction for Right Front, only the rows end with (K2. P2) 2 (3, 4, 6) times. For both Fronts: Begin Neck shaping when work measures 22.25 (23.75, 24.75, 25.75)" to give you more room to work the decreases to 22 (24, 28, 30) sts as stated.
