I love to have these books for my 5 year old - I think she could easily learn to knit or crochet, but I'm not that great of a teacher!

I love the books and would love to win so I could teach a knitting and crocheting classes for small children. I think it is important for young children to learn how to knit, crochet, embroider, sew, cross stitch, paint, draw etc. to learn arts and crafts. As soon as I set my blog up and it is ready to go, I will let you know. Congratulations on your blog as well everything else you are doing. Keep up your good work and thank you for sharing the arts and crafts patterns and finished items. Marilynne Q in SE TN on the GA/ALA lines

These books both look like good choices for my 5yo daughter, who is learning to knit and crochet. (I just wish there were some beginner books out there for boys.. my son is a little interested, but very very put off by all the "girly" books/patterns/accessories.)
