1/15/2014 Soap makingIntrigued from this Pinterest pin, I endeavoured to make my sisters and friends soap and knitted dishcloth for our little Xmas prezzie exchange. So while Martha's recipe was a wonderful peppermint soap, I opted for lavender, spindling a few bits of actual lavender on top. Knitted a few dishcloths of my own or washcloths and now I'm hooked. I can't wait to make oatmeal soap or lemon soap. I mushed up leftovers into a ball and gave it to Lou. He loved it! Below I changed up the recipe and used Shea butter soap and Glycerine soap. I walked into Lush last week and got further inspired. I know what I'm doing on rainy days at the cottage this summer! Happy Knitting,

Thank you Fran! All but the circle are mine. That can be found on the link on the word washcloths, which takes you to http://www.simplynotable.com/2013/the-almost-lost-washcloth-pattern/ Comments are closed.
