![]() Well, I'm almost finished "Chilly", which for me, has been my Olympic Knitting. I have to confess, knitting and watching the Men's and Womens' Hockey was tricky; working on the lace edging. Most of that knitting had to be done during commercial break. It was just too exciting! First, let me say a congrats to all the Canadian athletes. Amazing effort and results! It does get the Patriotism fired up, doesn't it? My Olympic knitting Chilly is a short version of my Summer Chill Shawl from "Twelve Months of Knitting." An updated kerchief style scarf with a funky western feel. It looks great against the black here, but imagine it with denim! I got inspired while cleaning out my studio and donating doe excess yarn (also for sale here). I LOVE the Kool-Aid colours of this Fleece Artist wool/Silk , which I had leftover from my freebie pattern, "Houses." Chilly is quick and easy to knit, with charts, but I will write out the pattern as well. As soon as I'm done (this week), it will be available here and on Ravelry. Now what to watch while knitting? Hurry up Game of Thrones! April can't come soon enough! Comments are closed.
